ArtStreet is a free, temporary, multi-disciplinary arts project in Sacramento CA brought to you by M5Arts.
Location: In and around a warehouse at 300 1st Avenue in Sacramento, CA, owned by The Mill at Broadway. The exhibit spans over 65,000 SF of indoor and outdoor space.
When: ArtStreet is a temporary exhibit that runs from February 3rd through 25th, 2017.
Visiting: Exhibit hours will be posted shortly. There are two ways to visit ArtStreet:
First come, first serve: Free! Show up and get a first come, first serve time slot. There may be a wait time due to limited capacity inside the exhibit. There are outdoor installations, food, and beverages available while you wait.
Reservation: If you would like to have a guaranteed entry time and would like to support the project with a small donation, we are offering a limited number of time slot reservations here.
The Project: Featuring over 100 artists and performers, the project theme of a “street” will allow artists and those in attendance to explore and experience the notion of a street as transportation, connection, pathway, community and much more. Artists featured are both local and from around the globe, new and returning for their second exhibition with M5Arts.
ArtStreet also serves to fulfill one of the tenets of M5Arts, to broadly provide access to art in a non-institutional context.
